Due to the weather conditions we recommend long sleeve clothes and a winter coat. Also bring an umbrella or rain coat. The dressing code during the hub is informal.
We advise you to bring a backpack to bring along on excursions with your lunch and other necessities.

The internet speed in each cabin is set at 10 Mbps. If this speed is not sufficient, the park can increase it to 20 Mbps upon request.
We have our own expenses to cover the program and many of them have been paid in advance. Our expenses are not refundable. For this reason it is impossible to grant cancellation fees in case of cancellations for any reason. We expect all participants to purchase a cancellation insurance that will cover any cancellations in case of an emergency.
Participation in most of the activities is optional. Every participant joins only the activities that they like.
The only activities where participation is expected are the opening, the closing, feedback meetings and any group meetings. If you will not be able to join these activities, please discuss this with the program manager in advance. However, the teen does need to keep in mind that:
A dedicated teen facilitator will supervise the teens during their whole stay. In a daily meeting with the teens the facilitator will check the wellbeing of the teens, and discuss the synergy of the group. The coliving and the project will also be discussed, where the teens will be encouraged to take a critical look at their choices and what they want to achieve.
During outings the teen facilitator will join to the activity, where small groups will be arranged, and meeting moments agreed. The teens will be able to go and explore by themselves in an assigned area, while they stay in touch with the facilitator.
When a teen makes questionable choices a talk with the teen will be held. We will discuss the choices and will advise in the given situation. When needed we will inform the parents. Parents are at all time welcome to contact the program manager and discuss any questions or concerns.
The IQ teen camp is set up for children who seek challenge on an intellectual and philosophical level. If you recognise your teen in this description, the IQ teen camp is probably suitable for them. Since the camp consists of intense co living with other teens while discovering a different culture, we ask the teens to have an open minded and motivated attitude.
We will always hold an interview with the teen before finalising the registration, to discuss if the teen fits the above profile. We will advise against participation if we feel the teen does not fit the profile, and the teen will not enjoy themselves take away from the enjoyment from others.
For teens who are not interested in joining the project we will offer the option to join the teen camp without the project and the intellectual and philosophical challenges that comes with it, giving them more free time for socialisation and possibly schoolwork they bring from home. This option will be available if there are enough requests for a teen camp without the project.
