We found an amazing community complex to host Worldschooling Playa del Carmen.
Located in a gated and secured residential area less than a 10-minute drive from the beach, the complex offers lots of greenery, social areas and outdoor spaces. It’s a large complex with multiple pools, sport and play areas for children, a gym, and various palapas and sitting areas. There is a supermarket and a few small restaurants right next to the complex.
The complex gives us the chance to intensify the community of Worldschooling Playa del Carmen. Families will rent their own private apartment in the community complex, and be right in the heart of the community, where they can enjoy the facilities while being surrounded by other Worldschooling families.
We will share the community complex with other guests and residents and we will have rules in place to ensure our group does not disturb others
Most apartments have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Layouts vary, and some 3-bedroom units and apartments with a sofa bed may be available for larger families. The kitchens are generally well equipped. Some apartments have a washing machine, but some do not. There is a laundromat next to the complex.
Utilities are included, but electricity is only partly covered. If you use the air conditioning frequently, an additional fee may apply. You can expect €50–100 extra for 5 weeks if usage is moderate.
Pets may be allowed on request and for an extra fee.
